From The GSET Team
While Joshua does not subscribe to the emotion happiness, he lives his life in joy. Happiness is a temporary emotion based upon the reaction to someone or something. Joy is a state of being and a condition of the spirit. So even through all of his sufferings, he still lives his life in joy and he finds joy in life. He tries to give joy to others as others bring him joy. Never taking for granted the precious gift of life, friends, family, animals. Which is a perfect example of joy. As Joshua would say, animals don't live their life in happiness, they are and always will be the righteous example of a living being constantly giving and receiving joy. Healing hearts. We must do the same. And the only way to truly have joy is to know who you are in Christ. And to truly love. Give and receive unconditionally. And as Joshua always gives great analogies, hatred is an emotion based upon a reaction to someone or something. But love is a condition, internal and infinite. Without bias or conditions. Though we may use the word try, this is also something another thing that Joshua does not subscribe to. There is only do and don't. As he often states, no one tries to do their best, they just do so. No one tries to love, they just do so. You either do or you don't. The road in between is not paved with good intentions, it is not paved with trying. It starts with doing, and ends with doing. And that is what we must do.
